"I will always love you."

I texted dad the night before his operation... and he responded back "will always love you"... every once in awhile dad will send me a text that instantly puts a smile on my face. We might not see each other much, or talk often but its nice to be reminded that without a doubt my dad loves me, and loves me with unconditional love. The times when he tells me not to worry, or that he is proud of me... brighten my day and encourage me. Its nice to see it and not just hear it, to see it and notice that he was thinking about me and to see but to also always remember words and thoughts he has said to me. To remember them through photograph as a way to always be able to see his thoughts and feelings as a keepsafe forever, it also gives more truth to the "will always" aspect of it.
