I'm not happy with how it turned out visually, but I am happy that this project is finally over... and all the metal pins into cardboard letters, and adding dots into Illustrator is also over. WAY TOO much time was given.

Fall 2010
As usual I am not consistent in posting. The "plan" was to be more diligent with my time this summer and continue to post, but the normal fast pace life took over and I found the little time that I did have to myself desiring to spend it elsewhere with friends. Summer is sadly over and fall is here, or at least the rain is here for now. The season isn't the only thing that has changed. Recently I have found myself at a loss for words on certain things in my life. I don't know the reasons why I am the place where I am today or the reasons that caused things "to go wrong" this month or perhaps what I did wrong to deserve to be treated this way. Im trying to trust more and be patient in the midst of things that are going on right now. So once again "I am going to try to be committed to this and post" as well as consuming myself with work, school projects (which I don't have a choice anyways BUT to do... regardless of the "now") in an attempt to keep my mind off of things.

Sketchbook
Before I take my next drawing class, I figure its best to add the pictures online before I either lose or decide to burn my sketchbook by the end of the semester. These are from Fall 2008 and a few randoms from the end of Fall 2009 semester.
New Semester
With the start of a new semester.... also brings endless thoughts and questions. Mainly pertaining to art and its process. So to name a few todays current thoughts:
- what consist in an art world, as a whole and parts
- ideas of lines and shapes and what rules and structure they are to follow
- texture
- media
- mixed media (also as a process or technique)
- collage
- process techniques and the idea behind what events, processes took place in creating the represented art
In other news: whatever gave me the idea to enroll in a 500 level art history course which graduates also are taking and in the same classes with undergrads... badddd idea.
This class will be the death of me, I thought 300 level history courses were bad, WRONG.
